Isle 10ft deck padWhile I think the Isle 10ft is an amazing inflatable SUP board, it might not suit everyone. Its price tag and design may make it the best inflatable stand up paddle board for some, but not others; others may prefer a longer board or more responsive adjustable knob. At the same time, those complaints feel to me like nitpicking, as this is an incredibly solid inflatable SUP board that feels as firm and tough as a traditional SUP board, and can support beginner riders up to 200 Pounds. On top of everything else, it rolls Up into a sleeping bag size so it can be easily stored and carried around.

Really, though, I can’t imagine anyone really finding a reason to dislike the Isle 10ft board – it’s a nice, solid SUP board, with deliberate construction and elegant functionality that stands up to the competition through sheer efficiency.

In the end, I think this would be a great investment for someone just starting out SUP”ing; since it is designed to be an All-Around flat water SUP board,  I’d wager that it’s easy as a pie to inflate and start paddling without having any training or experience with the practice before. To that end, this makes a great starter inflatable stand up paddle board for anyone interested in the fine art of padding.Isle-SUP-Stand-Up-Paddle-Board-Overview

Whether you’re buying a stand up paddle board for the first time or simply want to try something new for a change, I can’t recommend the ISLE 10ft inflatable SUP board enough; you won’t regret it.

As for cons, it’s really difficult to think of any. If anything, I would say that the board doesn’t track straight all that well. After a few paddle strokes, the board begins curving.Granted. This will happen a little even with a hard board, but inflatables are more susceptible to this.

Furthermore,if you decide to buy the “ISLE 10ft” you will trade off speed and performance for the convenience. However, unless your name is Laird Hamilton and you’re in a competitive paddling competition between Hawaiian islands, then, this is probably not a big deal.

Q : is the paddle that comes with the board floatable ?

A : Yes, Ir does float. However, it’s not recommended to leave it in the water for extended periods of time as it will end up filled with water. And since the paddle is made with aluminum, it’s more likely to sink than the Carbon fiber paddles. It’s also a little heavy but that’s to be expected. This is not a racing board.

Keeper Sports Stand Up Paddle Board reviewOne of the few downsides of stand up paddle boarding is the big money sink that goes into the stand up paddle board, be it an inflatable or a rigid paddle board – if you really want to get a good one, you have to shell out some serious cash. Sure, you end up saving a lot of money in the long run with how cheap Stand-Up Paddle Board Rentals are nowadays, but that initial money sink can get kind of pricey. To that end, when you’re dropping upwards of $500 on a stand up paddle board, you want to make sure you’re getting the right one.

I’m going to give it to you straight, lads. When it comes to stand up paddle boards, you really don’t want to mess around. You don’t want to buy a stand up paddle board simply because it’s less expensive. Why? Because stand up paddle boards are one products that really abide by the “you get what you pay for” cliche. However, when it comes to other SUP”ing accessories, you can certainly do some bargain hunting. And less expensive doesn’t mean that you’re forfeiting quality for price.

Our purpose here isn’t to convince you guys to go out and splurge on the most expensive SUP board possible. Quite honestly, this SUP board isn’t even close to the most expensive we’ve seen. We do think you get a lot of bang for your buck with this board.

Below, I decided to review and share my thoughts on Keeper Sports Stand Up Paddle Board Set so you can see if it’s worth spending money on – after all, some people compare it favorably to the Tower Adventurer Paddle Board, which is one of our favorite inflatable stand up paddle boards over here. With a recommendation like that, who wouldn’t want to check it out ?

More In-Depth Info On The Keeper Sports Stand Up Paddle Board

Keeper Sports Stand Up Paddle Board reviewFirst of all, the Keeper Sport SUP is simple – it’s practically simplicity personified. The design is bare-bones, but not to a fault; it’s just important to understand that this is an entry-level board built and designed from the ground up to be an affordable, economical and sturdy option for anyone who’s just getting into the sport or someone on a budget.

That being said, if you’re looking for a good entry level rigid stand up paddle board that comes with good specs and features an affordable price tag without forfeiting quality, then look no further than then Keeper Sports rigid stand up paddle board. It is a worthy opponent to the inflatable Tower Adventurer – It’s rigid and a few hundred bucks cheaper.

Keeper Sports Stand Up Paddle Board features a thickness of 5.5” and a wide deck of 32″ which make it quite stable and comfortable though it lacks the top deck pad.So if you decide to purchase this board, you’ll want to add an anti-slip deck pad for better footing and comfort.

Unlike the other multi-Fin configuration stand up paddle boards we’ve reviewed on this site before, the Keeper Sport board has only one single fin which makes it a bit lacking in terms of maneuverability. Yes, a single fin might be a good choice for beginners who are into flat water riding. However, this might be a huge drawback for you if maneuverability and speed are high priorities on your list.

The Keeper Sports Stand Up Paddle Board is built with EPS Foam enhanced with three wooden stringers for added rigidity and strength. EPS foam isn’t the best material to build a stand up paddle board, as it can be easily damaged if not handled with care. However it gets the job done and keeps the costs to a reasonable level.

This Inflatable stand up paddle board is serious business: We’re really impressed with this Board’s design, performance, features and price. What more could you want? We decided to whip up a detailed review for you so you can see what we’re talking about.

How To Care For Your Inflatable SUP

We know that you are here to read our review of the Tower Paddle Boards Adventurer and we promise to get to that shortly. First, we’d like to introduce you to how to properly care for an inflatable stand up paddle board if you are new to this water sport. We figure that the price tags that some inflatable stand up paddle boards carry, you might as well get your money’s worth and the best way to do that is by taking care of it properly. Let’s go ahead and get started so that you can get to the Tower Paddle Boards Adventurer review that we know you are waiting.

Luckily, there isn’t a whole lot of work that has to be done to keep your inflatable stand up paddle board in top notch shape. As The majority of them are built tough and able to withstand a fair amount of abuse. Therefore, all it takes is a simple routine that you are able to continually follow and you will have yourself an inflatable stand up paddle board that lasts you several years worth of paddling.

Protect The Material

There are actually two things that you can do to protect the material on your board.

One of the easiest and best things that you can do for your inflatable stand up paddle board is to keep it dry. Keep the board dry when it is not in use and dry it as soon as you are done using it – sounds simple enough, right? This is very effective in keeping any mold and mildew from growing on the material when the board is in its carry bag.

As opposed to inflatable kayaks, Inflatable SUP are much easier to dry off, as they have no nooks and crannies for it to get stuck in.

Using 303-protectant spray is another great way to care for your board. Simply, spray your entire board and follow the instructions on the bottle. Make sure to wipe off any excess or it can make the board slippery.

303 Protectant is a fantastic beautifying liquid sunscreen that will protect the material from UV rays. 303 Protectant is a must in hot weather.

Avoid Dragging

Although inflatable stand up paddle boards are made tough to withstand the rough use they are often subjected to in the field and when they are being carried into and from the water, we figured that it still makes sense to protect it and avoid dragging it on rocks, gravel or over sharp debris as much as possible.

Storage

Lastly, storing your inflatable stand up paddle board properly is just as important to it’s lifespan as the other tips we have mentioned above. You don’t need anything really fancy to store it properly. The Tower paddle board we’re reviewing here comes with its own carry bag, and that’s enough, but make sure that it’s kept in a dry area and that it doesn’t get dusty.

Quick Tips | Inflatable SUP Board Cleaning and Care

Tower Adventurer iSUP Features

If you are considering buying the Tower Adventurer, then here is a quick overview of some of the top features that it can offer you. It actually has a lot to offer.

  • EXTREMELY RIGID, yet lightweight – Weight limit of up to 350 lbs on the water. When fully inflated, it feels very similar to a hard board (can be inflated up to 15 PSI -but is stiff and ready to ride at 10 PSI)…
  • HIGHLY DURABLE – Tower Adventurer iSUP is built tough to withstand the toughest environments and to ensure reliability throughout its lifetime.Military-grade PVC and drop-stitch materials have been used to build this board. These materials allow manufacturers to build inflatables with flat surfaces that can be inflated to rock-hard rigidity, making your tower inflatable board feels very similar to a hard board. And most importantly, you’ll never worry again about dings and board cracks.
  • PORTABLE – Easy to store and transport. It is 9’10” x 32″ x 6″ inflated and only 1 foot in diameter and 33″ wide when rolled up.
  • PACKAGE DEAL All in one – Includes board, pump, and 3-piece adjustable aluminum paddle.
  • 2-YEAR WARRANTY – 2-year manufacturers warranty which covers everything outside of normal wear & tear.

Bottom line : Tower Adventurer iSUP is one of the best inflatable SUP boards on the market. Most forums agree. We personally think it’s the best, all things considered. It’s a great iSUP board for both beginners and serious stand up paddleboarders who are on the lookout for a convenient solution.

More In-Depth Info On The Tower Adventurer Inflatable SUP Board

The Tower Adventurer iSUP board is one of the best compact inflatable stand up paddle board out there. It has some really nice design features and on top of that, it’s reasonably priced.

At 9’ 10” long and 32″ wide (at its widest point) it is extremely compact and easily transportable compared to its larger counterparts. Some people might think that it’s a bit narrow and tight but we think that it’s ample enough to throw a small child, a dog or even man’s best friend on board. And Yes! It can hold a ton of weight with no flex at all, and that’s what we like the most about this iSUP board.

The main design features of the Adventurer are :

  • 6-inches thickness.
  • Grooved deck with anti-slip pad that provides good comfort and grip for your feet.
  • 1 large removable skeg that is ideal for flat water paddling.
  • 2 small side attached side skegs for rivers or surf.
  • Hand hold strap in the center of the board.
  • D-ring at the back for your leash.
  • Roll-up carrying strap.

Tower Adventurer SUP Board Setup

Inflating a Tower Adventurer board is an easy task. It’s just a matter of minutes to get it fully inflated as the board itself
isn’t that long. It’s highly recommended to use an electric pump and set the PSI level to 11 – 11 PSI is the recommended air pressure for this board.

Some paddleboarding connoisseurs might say that 11 PSI is nothing compared to some other inflatable SUP’s that can support high pressure levels that goes up to 15 – 17 PSI.You’ll just have to trust me on this one. 11 PSI on this board is quite rigid and strong and can support a ton of weight with no flex at all.

Tower Adventurer board comes with two attached fins and one removable larger fin on the center. The latter is to be used only when you’ll be paddling in flat water. The only downside with this fin (at least to me) is that you have to use a screw to attach it. Although this makes for a very secure fin, it is also a tiny part that is easy to lose.

Tower Adventurer SUP Board Performance

On top of everything else, this thing floats and tracks on water like a dream. And though it wasn’t that fast, we were quite impressed with how stable this board really was, and that’s what we like most about it.

Additionally, while many inflatable SUP on the market are still only 4” thick,Tower Adventurer inflatable SUP boasts a thickness of 6-inches which makes it quite comfortable to cruise around with. Not to mention that it’s 4x as rigid with 2x the weight capacity.

The Down Side

As for cons, it’s really difficult to think of any. If anything, I’d say it’s a shame it doesn’t come with a carry bag. Instead It comes with a strap that keeps the board together when deflated and rolled up.I personally think that having a carry bag is much better for the sake of convenience. That being said, you can always invest in a large duffel bag.

Additionally, the Tower Adventurer also doesn’t come with the extra D-rings for attaching bungee cords or gear. This is not a big deal however, as very few smaller SUPs actually have these accessories, but thought it is still worth mentioning.

No product is perfect and yet this inflatable stand up paddle board comes pretty darn close to being perfect.

Final Thoughts

All in all, though, the pros outweigh the cons – we have reviewed many inflatable stand up paddle boards on this site before, and we are quite fond of the Tower Adventurer Stand up Paddle Board. Tower produces a quality product for a great price. On its own, Tower adventurer is a really well-made iSUP board, all things considered, and it performs like a rigid stand up paddle board, and it would a great investment for anyone who’s looking for a solid multi-purpose inflatable stand up paddle board that doesn’t break that bank.
